DAY 6

TODAY WAS JUST THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was our sixth day of course and the best day we've experienced yet! ♥
The schedule for today was a school trip to Heidelberg. The place is absolutely stunning. I recommend everyone, who ever travels to Germany, to go to Heidelberg. We started our day early in the morning. Our first destination was going to be the Heidelberg Castle. It was a 2 hour journey in the bus which we enjoyed a lot!

We sang songs.. (of course ;p ) and listened to some, taught each other some words from our languages.. like "halt die gosch! und sitz!" which means shut up and sit! xP (at least that's what we've been told ;D)
The castle was simply majestic. The lady who guided us around the castle was also really nice, and managed to gather our attention to things which were otherwise complicated to understand.

After the guided tour around the castle.. all the Indians from the group preferred walking down the hill to taking the train, and i'm glad we took that decision. While walking down we could actually feel the atmosphere of the place, and take whole advantage of it to delight ourselves with awesome
 ice-creams ♥

Next, we treated ourselves with the most delicious food in Germany yet. We had Spaghetti in white sauce and a German delicacy called Flammkuchen.

It was just so exquisite.
After that we obviously did some souvenir shopping and then we got ourselves ready for the most exciting part -- The Cruise along the river Neckar. It was such an incredible experience. We could feel ourselves breathing in, probably, the freshest air possible.

We truly had the time of our lives there. ♥ I can never ever forget this place.

DAY 5

Our fifth day in Germany is now over. It was such an Amazing dayy ♥
Me and partner Jule wished her mom birthday in the morning.. And that's how the day started. We gave her the card we had been hiding since a day,and also bouquet and a box of chocolates. She was really happy and we were glad she liked it.

Then we attended school and enjoyed there as well. We tried the milk from the school which had been suggested by our teachers back in India. Shanu ma'am you were so right! This milk is awesome!
After school some of us met at our friend Thilo's house.

We enjoyed our time playing video games, singing songs,
Snacking of course, and chit chatting about our families and stuff.

Then we went to the cow barn and also spent some
time in the rain..

And when the weather was good..
We obviously.. Once again... Hiked ♥
....from Thilo's house to the school's village.. Gaildorf.

It was such a loooooooong walk, yet memorable. We were singing Hindi and English and German and
'Barbie' songs all the way.
:D

We then celebrated our successful trek with döners and coke.
It was all just wonderful.. I wish all our days here are as full of life as today. ☻

DAY 4

Wohoooo! Schloss Real Schule RoCksssSs!!
It was our fourth day in Germany and first day in school today. The school is small and cute.♥ It's really nice. The walls have been designed so well..

and the teachers seem friendly as well.
We met the Mayor of Gaildorf there and also the German students from last year's exchange. They were really sweet and shared their experiences with us.

The school is very different from ours in many ways.
First of all, there are not more than 20 students in a class which makes it easier for a teacher to pay more attention to each child.
Secondly, they focus more on practical studies.. like Sewing, Cooking, Mechanics, Music etc... And one major difference of course was that the medium of teaching there is German and not English. In our country we consider English superior than our native language, which I believe to be wrong.
Though there are other things in our schools which are yet to come here.. For example the uniforms we wear. The smart boards of course, and Academic excellence.

The tour around the school was much fun!

Then we visited my partner Jule's Grandma today. She's really very sweet and adorable, We also made a card for her mom's birthday tomorrow.. it was fun doing it together and then hiding it from her mom :p

I hope her mom likes it ☻
Good bye for now!

Sunday 3 May 2015

DAY 3

Sunday of course means late mornings.. like today :p Though i still woke up on time.. thanks to the jet lag I guess.

It's just the third day yet.. but it seems as if we've already spent months here...
Today me and one of my friends Shreya.. made an Indian delicacy for our German friends at her partner Magali's house.☻

It was a totally special experience altogether. We had to translate the names of vegetables and some other ingredients, from Hindi to German.. which was.. well a little difficult task. Then of course, it was a German kitchen totally different from an Indian one.. the utensils, spoons, environment.. everything.

We enjoyed it a lot!

Then, our friends.. Tannisha and Linda also accompanied us.
Thankfully our Experiment of Pao Bhaji in the German kitchen succeeded. All our Partners loved it. ♥

Then we spent our time together.. playing the cup song and racing on Wii and stuff like that.

A cool day indeed. Now I'm just waiting for tomorrow.. It would be our first day in school.
For now,
Chao!

DAY 2

It was our second day in Germany today.. We visited our first tourist destination -- Schwäbisch Hall.

We initially went there to watch Fast and Furious 7.. in German.. (ya right.. German. We still don't know why were we watching an English movie in German... knowing that we won't get a word) but ended up doing loads of shopping..

eating our first Döner kebabs.. getting lucky to taste the most delicious chocolate coated almonds
(which are usually not available in the season).. singing songs to the ducks.. clicking loads of selfies and having lots and lots of fun!! ♥

A memorable day for sure.. but too tiring.. I think Germany has lots of walking waiting for us.. But no worries I love walks. ;) ♥

Friday 1 May 2015

DAY 1

Today was just AMAZING.. if put in one word.
it was officially our first day in Germany. We created our first memories of the place today, and m simply glad that they are already one of the best.It was our first hike.. Yes, hike.
We hiked to one of the exchange students- Killian's house for a barbecue party!  :D
It's impossible to explain in words.. how much i enjoyed this walk. It was tiring.. It was long.. but i still loved it. I really don't know why.

Maybe because when we are with friends we don't really give a damn about how much our legs are hurting or how long we have to walk. We just want to have fun and that's what happens.

It took us one and a half hours or so to reach the place, and yes.. it was worth it.
We had our food.. chicken and juice and gummy bears... It was really tasty. <3

Soon after the food finished.. all of us got mixed up really well and learned the fact that all of us.. literally all 24 of us are the craziest people alive on this Earth! We had so much fun.. we danced on the table, sung songs in the worst way possible, learned the cup song, did stupid stuff on the road, clicked pictures of course and had loads and loads of fun!

This group now.. would rock the country.. wait and watch Germany  ;P

Thursday 30 April 2015

Namaste Deutschland

Finally now, We are here... living our dreams :')
We took off from Delhi last night.. And reached the Frankfurt airport on time.. and thankfully without any hiccups.

The highlight of the day of course was the fact that..... We are the second ever exchange group who boarded the scheduled Train from Frankfurt to Stuttgart!! (without losing a slipper ;p)

After this memorable, one hour journey of the train.. came the most awaited moment of our trip,
-We met our exchange partners for the first time! All of them exactly what we thought they would be... They had us warmly welcomed with bouquets, chocolates, and a big welcome poster.

All of us settled in our houses and rested for a while.. and then me and my dearest partner Jule went out shopping for the barbecue party tomorrow. Omg m sooo Excited! *-*

Let's see what the next day offers.. Good night :)
